ACEAA ESPACIO ARTE Y ACCIÓN

ACEAA, Space, Art and Action

ACEAA explores how art, architecture and collaborative practices can contribute to more sustainable, inclusive and biodiverse ways of inhabiting. We are an interdisciplinary cultural and research association based in Madrid, working across art, architecture, sustainable design and participatory practices

ACEAA was founded in 2024 as an initiative for artistic and architectural research committed to generating social impact and fostering positive change. We see artistic and architectural research as powerful tools for a more-than-human andthe sustainable built environment. ACEAA operates as an interdisciplinary non-profit association for research and creation across contemporary art, architecture, landscape, science, education, and cultural dissemination.

Bridging Art, Architecture and Research

Its mission is to encourage innovative and creative thinking through artistic research and experimentation, contributing new ways of understanding the world and supporting more sustainable and responsible forms of transformation.

The association promotes architectural and artistic research thoruugh residency programs spanning art, media and science. By bringing together different disciplines and perspectives, ACEAA creates an environment for dialogue and collaboration between artists, architects, researchers, cultural institutions, public organizations, and other actors in society. Open to both local and international communities, ACEAA develops cultural initiatives, exhibitions, workshops, conferences and open calls that engage with significant environmental and social questions shaping contemporary society.
