ACEAA is a partner of the New European Bauhaus Community

Collaboration, Co-creation & European Projects

ACEAA develops collaborative projects at the intersection of art, architecture, design, ecology, technology and society. We understand co-creation as a process through which different forms of knowledge — artistic, architectural, scientific and community-based — can be brought together to address complex environmental and social challenges. Our aim is to contribute to projects that combine research, experimentation, spatial transformation, cultural production and public engagement, particularly within the framework of the New European Bauhaus and related European programmes.

What ACEAA can contribute

ACEAA can contribute to interdisciplinary projects through a combination of: Artistic research and experimentation, Development of artistic methodologies, visual research, exhibitions, installations and experimental formats. Architecture and spatial practices Research and design related to Bio-architecture, public space, adaptive reuse and ecological transformation of the built environment. Bio-design and more-than-human approaches Exploration of multispecies relationships, interactive environments, and caring ecologies. Biomaterials and material experimentation Research into natural, bio-based, recycled and low-impact materials, including their spatial, cultural and environmental applications. Participatory and co-design methodologies Workshops, collaborative design processes, community engagement and interdisciplinary co-creation. Cultural programming and public engagement Exhibitions, residencies, talks, publications, workshops and dissemination activities connecting research with broader audiences. Research communication and visualisation Mapping, visual narratives, diagrams, spatial representation and communication tools supporting interdisciplinary research.

European Projects & Partnerships

ACEAA is open to collaboration in New European Bauhaus, Horizon Europe and other European research and innovation initiatives. We contribute expertise in architecture, regenerative and biodiversity-sensitive design, participatory processes, artistic research, more-than-human approaches, spatial mapping, Living Labs and cultural engagement.

We are interested in joining interdisciplinary consortia involving universities, research centres, municipalities, NGOs, cultural organisations, designers and environmental partners, particularly around neighbourhood transformation, biodiversity, inclusive environments, circularity and regenerative design.

ACEAA is part of the New European Bauhaus Community and shares its commitment to creating environments that are more beautiful, sustainable and inclusive. Within this framework, ACEAA seeks to develop collaborations that connect cultural practice with ecological transition, spatial transformation and social innovation. Our interests include projects addressing neighbourhood regeneration, biodiversity, public space, new forms of inhabiting, circularity, bio-based materials, cultural participation and environmental awareness.
